Two Truths, One Vision

Curator’s Note Two Truths, One Vision Two Truths, One Vision is a duet exhibition by Kin Maung Yin and Aung Myint, two of Myanmar’s legendary modern artists who created from the depths of the soul. Both expressed their emotions with bravery and sincerity — fearless of judgment, guided by their own beliefs and inner truths. Each artist dedicated his life to expressing emotion without restraint, walking his own path with unwavering conviction. Their works transcend the surface of painting; they speak as languages of the soul, reflections of the inner mind, and symbols of freedom. While Kin Maung Yin revealed truth through silence, form, and simplicity, Aung Myint carried forward this legacy with sincerity and depth — creating from the core of his being. Each holds a different truth, yet both share one vision: to create with purity of heart and authenticity of spirit. Two Truths, One Vision celebrates this meeting point — where individuality and unity, courage and calm, merge into a timeless dialogue of the soul.
